This seminar series, offered by Clarkson University and its Center for Electric Power Systems Research (CEPSR) will introduce participants to the technical and business aspects of the energy and utilities industry through weekly seminars provided by executive guest speakers. Seminar speakers will explore a broad range of industry-relevant topics such as: construction, power generation, transmission, distribution, industrial sectors, along with the evolving roles of utilities in serving diverse end users of electrical power, such as data centers. The seminars will also examine key trends shaping the energy industry landscape—emerging business models, geo-political influences, the growing penetration of renewables and clean energy, energy storage, fuel cells, green hydrogen, smart grids, microgrids, electric vehicles, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in the grid modernization and the cyber-physical security of digital energy infrastructure.
