This course will introduce you to strategic planning and its application to the workplace environment. Strategic planning is a tool used by leaders to define the vision for the organization. It includes identifying the goals and objectives that are required in support of executing the vision. The output of strategic planning is the strategic plan which is the document that is used to cascade the goals and required supporting actions to the organization.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to:
- Explain the five steps of the strategic planning process and identify the benefits of strategic planning.
- Demonstrate the use of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and their supporting metrics to manage tactical execution against the strategic plan.
